Terminate HER is a 5 minute parody of the Oscar Nominated film HER, created for the Annual 2014 Toscars competition.

Each year, the Toscars spoofs the Academy Awards by having 10 Team Leaders, randomly select 10 people who will work together to create a five-minute short film based on a randomly selected Best Picture Oscar Nominee.

According to Toscar rules, with a budget of only $250, these 10 teams, write, direct, act, shoot, record, edit, compose and create an original poster all in a span of 3 weeks.

The Red Carpet Gala is held at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood where the ten teams compete for Best Parody, Best Whactor (Actor), Best Whactress (Actress), Best Supporting Whactor, Best Supporting Whactress, Best Choons (Score), Best Dicktator (Director), Best Scribbler (Writer), Best Cutter (Editor), and Best Bang for the Buck (Production Design).

Terminate HER was shot in 2 days at various locations in Los Angeles and Santa Monica.

Matt is so happy to be part of this amazing TOSCARS Team and ecstatic to walk away with two Golden Fists for his work on Terminate HER for BEST WHACTOR and BEST PARODY . Last year, he Produced and starred as Javier Bardem as Silvatop in the TOSCAR Winning Skyfell (and I can't get up).

Lauren is an accomplished actress, singer and dancer. Having started her career at the age of 9, in ‘Annie’ in London’s West End, she quickly followed this with roles in the musical 'Oliver' and BAFTA award winning screen writer, Jimmy McGovern’s film,‘Heart.'

In her early teens she formed a teen band, with her brother, Steven, and after wining a contest on National TV, they scored a record deal. Lauren later became a solo artist, when Steven left the band to concentrate on his career as a professional footballer.

Lauren penned the song Stand Tall to help in the fight against bullying. She guested on TV shows worldwide and after performing in the United States, where she was offered a scholarship to the New York Film Academy, she returned to the UK to shoot the film ‘Senseless’.

Lauren was then in invited to China after the Sichuan earthquake and performed live to 800 million people. A documentary was made about her titled ‘Lauren’s Journal’. Due to her humanitarian work, Lauren was made Youth Ambassador to the United Nations, and continues her work on their behalf.

Lauren now lives in Los Angeles, and returns to London for film work when required. She recently played the lead role of Elizabeth Marin in the film 'Vagary' due for release in 2014, she has booked the lead role of Lina Levin, in the $5 million movie 'Miracobelli', the complex story of young Lina's parentage and rise through the fashion industry, and in November 2013 shoots the lead role of Sally Basnett in the movie 'Occupied Territory' a story dealing with mental illness. Her character is loud, funny and loves attention. We later discover she is the victim of rape and incest by her father. This role required an exceptional actress, and will showcase Lauren at the Cannes Film Festival in 2014.

Actress Leanne Wilson became a household name in the U.K for her portrayal as nurse Claire Guildford in 90 episodes of the BBC primetime Drama series Casualty. Her UK publicity includes FHM, Maxim, OK! magazine, Hello! magazine as well as all national tabloids, television magazines and weekly entertainment magazines. Since leaving BBC’s Casualty Leanne has worked with legendary director/producer Nancy Meyers on the movie The Holiday and made a memorable guest appearance in the U.K Bafta Award winning television show Peep Show.

She was cast as a series regular on the American Scifi show Tracker – which was later turned into a movie and went on to book a series lead in another BBC show - Doctors.

She now lives in Los Angeles, California and has worked on House M.D. with Hugh Laurie, Better Off Ted opposite Portia De Rossi, a campaign for Sony Playstation playing News reader Olivia Darby, the feature Storage starring Tom Everett Scott, the pilot The Bare Tales and has just wrapped season two of the web-series – Workshop airing on Hulu.com.

She studies and has been a member of the theater company at the Larry Moss Studios, and with The Groundlings.


After completing her studies at Oxford University, award winning Director/Producer/Writer Adaora Nwandu worked and studied around Africa, France and USC School of Cinema. She then returned to England to make ‘Rag Tag’, her first feature, which was selected at over 40 International Film Festivals including Venice, Ouagadougou and London, and also won Best Director and Best Producer awards. Her follow up feature script for World War II adaptation Bitter Eden won the American Silver Lei Writing Award.

Adaora has gone on to make several acclaimed and international narrative and documentary films. Her most recent projects have been reality TV series Centenary Queen 2014, her own dating show series - A Suitable Spouse, as well as Toscars 2014 Best Film winner Terminate Her.

Heather greatly enjoyed her Toscars debut as Scribbler and being a part of a dynamic, winning team. Since winning her first national writing contest at the age of 10 (ok, it was 3rd place) she knew she found her passion for storytelling. After founding 3 newspapers, writing 18 books, and working in PR, she polished her screenwriting skills through the UCLA Screenwriting Certificate Program where she was hired out of class to be a script analyst.

Currently, Heather is writing/developing the following scripts The Weed Merchant of Venice, The Lion's Share, and an unnamed punk-style opera. Also a book author, Golden Swan Publishing will release her Grace children's book series in June of 2014. She is also an occasional contributor to the Santa Monica Observer. MONTGOMERY FISHER (Director of Photography)For the past 15 years, Montgomery has travelled across the globe expressing his genuine love for his craft, Digital Cinematography.

Montgomery was first intrigued and inspired as a young boy by his father, Cary Fisher, and his grandfather, Gerry Fisher; the recent recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award from The British Society of Cinematographers.

Montgomery brings along with him a talent and a crafted skill; bred from true cinematic Heritage. As a third generation filmmaker, Montgomery is known for his gregarious nature, his willingness to share his knowledge, and a humble open approach to collaboration. That has helped guide many camera units to develop unique pieces of art, expressed in light and motion.

“It is no surprise to say that we are in a new era of what it means to be a Filmmaker".

I take pride in staying ahead of the curve. I have witnessed the industry shift from film to digital, from bulky to compact, and I continually strive to take my filmmaking, and equipment expertise above and beyond the standard.
